Discovery Center

I took Brady to the Discovery Center in Murfreesboro a couple weeks ago and it seems that he really enjoys it more and more the older he gets. He took notice to some of the things he typical just passes up. Including dressing up. Which if you know my child you know that you have to basically hold him down just to change him into normal clothes so the chance of him voluntarily putting clothes on is slim to none. Needless to say I was SHOCKED when he asked me to put the apron on him in the grocery center area. So excuse the picture overload with the apron but I had to take a ton in case this was just a fluke! Hope you enjoy.

"How much you like?" That's the question he asks all the time when he's wanting me to buy something or to pick something out. It's really cute. I correct him sometimes but other times I just let him say it wrong because it's so cute.

I love his little smirk in the pic below but I shouldn't because he was actually making all the baskets and the 15 plus veggies and fruits in each one dump out on me and the floor on the other end. He does this type of thing all the time (dumping a whole tub of toys or crayons or whatever else) thinking it's funny but he's slowly learning he has to pick all of the stuff up he dumps and I think it's getting old now. :)

This is one of the toys he never was interested in before. He actually got the hang of it towards the end.

He loves to do art projects. He's even been 'helping' me scrapbook lately. So I decided to show him into the art area this time. He never took notice of it before. Once he saw the paints though he was definitely interested in staying. He's trying to draw a circle below with the paintbrush. He's really into circles right now. He does some other kind of squiggle in the middle of the circle which I'm thinking he might be trying for a smiley face but he hasn't told me that yet. I asked him a few times but he won't tell me what it is.

They have a little area where they can pick up these phones and listen and this one had Disney CARS playing. He didn't want to do it at first but I showed him the screen with Lightning McQueen and he decided it was ok. The picture below is him realizing that the cars were talking to him. Think he liked it?
