Easter Egg Hunt

After much debate because it rained this morning I took Brady to the Easter egg hunt at Sam Davis Home. He's only ever done an Easter egg hunt at CLC so this was something new for him. He did great though. Thanks Tiffany and Kristi for teaching him what to do!

Trying to decide which one has the best candy to eat.

Brady and Collin showing us their loot!

They ran away to take a look at their loot without supervision. Some how I'm guessing Brady was the one who lead this little excursion.

Look mom! His excitment was quickly shot down. Why would they put Now and Later's in a 0-3 year old egg hunt????

Trying to escape.

He found the Easter bunny and told him about the terrible boo-boo he had got running and falling down in the gravel. I think he expected more candy since he was hurt. I don't think the Easter bunny bought the story. He just got one piece of candy like everyone else. He wasn't scared though so I'm glad about that. It could have been the basket of candy that helped that out though.

Kind of a scary looking bunny don't ya think? I almost cried.... :)

Jennifer (Collin's mommy) thought it would be cute to put them in the feeding trough for a pic. HA! They just sat there and ate candy. So I guess it was a good idea!

Here's the boo-boo from his fall. Poor thing. He just had a meeting the con-a-creet (his version of concrete) earlier this week so needless to say the whole thing did not go over well. I used candy as a diversion so it didn't ruin our WHOLE day. I'm such a great mom! ;)
He did however, refuse to touch anything with that hand the rest of the time. It was curled in a fist until we made it home and he had a nap.

I just thought this pic was funny. Him looking under the barn. Thinking maybe he would find more eggs.
ps. he's over here now wanting pitty for his boo-boo. This kid really knows how to milk it for all it's worth.
He's such a mess.
Hope you enjoyed all your Easter festivities this weekend.

Outdoor Kid

Brady is an outdoor kind of kid. You can't keep him inside on a nice day. The weather has been warming up the past few weeks so he's been taking advantage of his time outside.
He had to make a goofy face of course and he was all sweaty and boy smelly but I wanted to get a more recent picture of him on his four-wheeler. He pretty much lives on that thing.
His hair was in a mohawk until he got running around. He finally has enough to style it but it's really just not worth it!

He's on our neighbor Brandon's four-wheeler here. He tends to want to ride on that one if they are outside the same time we are.
